Wally Gilbert
'When working as a silversmith I use fusing and soldering together with chasing, repousse and applied gold detail to build up a rich surface decoration of vessels, which are frequently made to commission. The ‘silver dancer’ is based upon larger sculptures of mine in cast iron and bronze in which the articulated limbs allow a variety of poses.'

Will Odell
Graduating in 2007 from The University for the Creative Arts at Farnham, Will Odell was shortlisted for the Thomas Lyte Modern Heritage Award 2008.

Will takes his inspiration from the world around him. He is particularly interested in architecture and natural forms such as skeletal winter trees and splits and cracks in rocks. Will based his initial research on the North Devon Coastline enjoying mixing silver and wood reflecting the driftwood scattering the beaches. He uses photography to collect visual information and with a range of techniques spinning, raising, piercing and steam bending creates his striking table centre pieces.
